From 2017-2022, the MHCF partnered with several historic cemeteries in Davidson Country to complete preservation and restoration projects. These private family cemeteries, which date back to the early 1800s, include Gower, White-Ogden, Sylvan Hall-Phillips, Thompson-Collinsworth, Morris-Shane, General Thomas Overton and Compton-Sirls.
MHC Foundation also received a grant from the TN Wars Commission to cover the cost of developing, fabricating, and installing two interpretive signs at Buchanan Station Cemetery.
